On April 18, 2024, the German-Russian Chamber of Commerce held a meeting of the Legal Affairs Committee. The head of our legal department, Alexandra Nechaeva, spoke about the current changes in Russian counter-sanctions legislation. In particular, new rules on the approval of transactions for the payment of shares, deposits and units of non-residents from April 1, 2024, explanations of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation on debt forgiveness, court practice on the repatriation of currency earnings and other questions were highlighted.
